۞ Say thou: my bondmen who have committed extravagance against themselves despair not of the mercy of Allah; verily Allah will forgive the sins altogether. Verily He! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 53 “And incline towards your Lord and submit to Him, before the punishment comes you and then you may not be helped.” 54 Follow the best of what has been revealed to you from your Lord before the chastisement suddenly comes upon you without you even being aware of it.” 55 Turn to God in repentance before a soul says, "Woe to me because of my failure to fulfill my duties to God. Woe to me for mocking God's guidance!" 56 Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous." 57 or lest he should say, when he sees the chastisement: “O that I might return again, and be among those who do good.” 58 [But God will reply:] "Yea, indeed! My messages did come unto thee; but thou gavest them the lie, and wert filled with false pride, and wert among those who deny the truth!" 59 And you will see on the Day of Resurrection the fabricators of lies against Allah, with their faces blackened; is not the destination of the haughty in hell? 60 And Allah will deliver those who are the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is Creator of all things; and He only is the Controller of all things. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, such are they who will be the losers. 63
