Surely We shall help Our Messengers and the believers in the life of this world and on the Day when witnesses will rise to testify, 51 On that Day no excuse will benefit the harmdoers. Theirs shall be the curse, and an evil lodging. 52 Verily We showed Moses the way, and bequeathed the Book to the children of Israel, 53 A guidance and an admonition unto the men of understanding, 54 So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning. 55 Indeed, those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without [any] authority having come to them - there is not within their breasts except pride, [the extent of] which they cannot reach. So seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Seeing. 56 The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind, yet most of mankind know not. 57 The blind and the sighted are not equal, just as those who believe and do good works and those who do evil are not equal: how seldom you reflect! 58 Most surely the hour is coming, there is no doubt therein, but most people do not believe. 59 And your Lord hath said: call unto Me, and I shall answer your prayer. Verily those who are stiff-necked against My worship, anon they will enter Hell abject. 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
