Do you not see how those who dispute about the verses of Allah how they are turned about? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 when, with iron collars and chains around their necks, they are dragged 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then it will be said unto them: where are those whom ye have been associating? 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant. 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
