Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? - 69 Those who reject the Book and the (revelations) with which We sent our messengers: but soon shall they know,- 70 when fetters and chains shall be on their necks, and they shall be dragged into 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods. 78
