Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 when, with iron collars and chains around their necks, they are dragged 71 into boiling water and then they will be burned in the fire. 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant!" 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
