Did you not see those who dispute concerning Allah's Signs? Whence are they, then, being turned astray? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 into the boiling water and then are thrown into the Fire, 72 Then it will be said unto them: where are those whom ye have been associating? 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter [now] the gates of hell, therein to abide: and how vile an abode for all who are given to false pride!" 76 So you persevere with patience (in your mission). The promise of God is true. Whether We show you some of the punishment We have promised them, or gather you up in death, they have to come back to Us. 77 Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78
