Do you not see how those who dispute about the verses of Allah how they are turned about? 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 associated with Allah in His Divinity?” They will say: “We have lost them; rather, we never used to call upon anyone before.” Thus will Allah cause them to stumble in error. 74 "This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be patient [Prophet], for God's promise is true: whether We show you part of what We have promised them in this life, or cause you to die first, it is to Us that they will be recalled. 77 We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods. 78
