Did you not see those who dispute concerning Allah's Signs? Whence are they, then, being turned astray? 69 Those who rejected the Book and the message which was given to Our Messenger will soon know (the consequences of their evil deeds). 70 when they shall have to carry the shackles and chains [of their own making] around their necks, 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter ye the gates of Hell as abiders therein. Hapless is the abode of the stiff-necked. 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
