It is Allah Who created the animals for you, in order for you to ride some of them, and some to eat. 79 and for you there are other uses in them, and that upon them you may reach a need in your chests, and upon them and on ships you are carried. 80 And [thus] He displays His wonders before you: which, then, of God's wonders can you still deny? 81 Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were more numerous than these and superior in strength and in the traces (they have left) in the land: Yet all that they accomplished was of no profit to them. 82 Then when their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, they were glad (and proud) with that which they had of the knowledge (of worldly things): And that at which they used to mock, surrounded them (i.e. the punishment). 83 Then when they behold Our prowess, they said: we believe in Allah alone, and we disbelieve in that which with Him we have been associating. 84 Then their Faith (in Islamic Monotheism) could not avail them when they saw Our punishment. (Like) this has been the way of Allah in dealing with His slaves. And there the disbelievers lost utterly (when Our Torment covered them). 85
