Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of others 79 And in them are numerous benefits for you, and for you to reach your hearts’ desires while riding them – and you ride upon them and upon the ships. 80 And He sheweth you His signs. Which, then, of the signs of Allah shall ya deny? 81 HAVE THEY, then, never journeyed about the earth and beheld what happened in the end to those [deniers of the truth] who lived before their time? More numerous were they, and greater in power than they are, and in the impact which they left on earth: but all that they ever achieved was of no avail to them 82 And when their messengers brought them clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) they exulted in the knowledge they (themselves) possessed. And that which they were wont to mock befell them. 83 They said, "We believe in One God and disbelieve in whatever we had considered equal to Him," when they experienced Our wrath. 84 But their believing after they had seen Our chastisement did not avail them. That has been Allah's Way concerning His servants. And the unbelievers courted utter loss, then and there. 85
