Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HA MIM. 1 A Revelation from (Allah), Most Gracious, Most Merciful;- 2 a Book whose revelations are well expounded, an Arabic Quran for people who possess knowledge, 3 A herald of good news and a warner, but most of them turn aside so they hear not. 4 And they say: "Our hearts are under coverings (screened) from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a screen, so work you (on your way); verily, we are working (on our way)." 5 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Physically I am a human like you – I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him”; and woe is to the polytheists. – 6 Who do not give a due share of their wealth for the welfare of others, and do not believe in the Hereafter. 7 The righteously striving believers will have a never-ending reward". 8
