Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ha Mim: 1 A revelation from the most benevolent, ever-merciful, 2 A Book whereof the verses are detailed; an Arabic Qur'an, for a people who know. 3 Good tidings and a warning. But most of them turn away so that they hear not. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are encased against that to which you call us, and there is a heaviness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us, so do as you will and so shall we." 5 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'I am only a human like you, to whom it is revealed that your God is One God. Therefore be straight with Him and ask Him to forgive you. Woe to the idolaters, 6 who do not pay Zakah, and who deny the Hereafter. 7 Truly, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW) and do righteous good deeds, for them will be an endless reward that will never stop (i.e. Paradise). 8
