On the Day that the enemies of God shall be gathered together and driven to the Fire, they shall be formed into groups, and 19 when they reach it, their hearing, eyes and skins will testify against them for what they were doing. 20 They will ask their skins: “Why did you bear witness against us?” The skins will reply: “Allah gave us speech, as He gave speech to all others. He it is Who created you for the first time and it is to Him that you will be sent back. 21 Ye did not hide yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should testify against you, but ye deemed that Allah knew not much of what ye did. 22 That thought of yours which ye formed concerning your Lord hath ruined you, and ye have become of the losers. 23 In this state, whether they bear with patience (or not), Fire alone shall be their abode. And if they seek to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so. 24 ۞ We have allotted them comrades, and they have decked out fair to them that which is before them and behind them. So against them has been realized the Word concerning nations that passed away before them, men and jinn alike; surely they were losers. 25
