The day the enemies of God will be gathered at the Fire and the records of their deeds will be distributed, 19 Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do. 20 And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allah has caused us to speak, as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return." 21 When you used to conceal yourselves (while committing misdeeds) you never thought that your ears or your eyes or your skins would ever bear witness against you; you rather fancied that Allah does not know a great deal of what you do. 22 That thought of yours which ye formed concerning your Lord hath ruined you, and ye have become of the losers. 23 Even if they are patient the Fire shall still be their lodging, and if they seek pardon, they shall not be among those who are pardoned. 24 ۞ And We appointed companions for them, who made what is before them and what is after them seem good to them, and the Word proved true upon them along with the groups of jinns and men who passed away before them; they were indeed losers. 25
