And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims." 33 The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allah ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. 34 But none is granted it save those who are steadfast, and none is granted it save the owner of great happiness. 35 Hence, if it should happen that a prompting from Satan stirs thee up [to blind anger,] seek refuge with God: behold, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 36 Among His signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate yourselves before the sun and the moon, but prostrate yourselves before God who created them all, if it is truly Him that you worship. 37 But if they are arrogant - then those who are near your Lord exalt Him by night and by day, and they do not become weary. ۩ 38 And of His signs is that thou beholdest the earth lowly, and when We send down thereon water, it stirreth to life and groweth. Verily He who quickeneth it is the Quickener of the dead. Verily He is over everything Potent. 39 Those who pervert the Truth in Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Which is better?- he that is cast into the Fire, or he that comes safe through, on the Day of Judgment? Do what ye will: verily He seeth (clearly) all that ye do. 40 Verily, they who are bent on denying the truth of this reminder as soon as it comes to them - [they are the losers]: for, behold, it is a sublime divine writ: 41 falsehood comes not to it from before it nor from behind it; a sending down from One All-wise, All-laudable. 42 Naught is said unto thee (Muhammad) save what was said unto the messengers before thee. Lo! thy Lord is owner of forgiveness, and owner (also) of dire punishment. 43 Had We made the Koran in a nonArabic (language) they would have said: 'If only its verses were distinguished! Why in (a) nonArabic (language, when the Prophet is) an Arab' Say: 'To the believers it is a guidance and a healing. But to those who do not believe, there is a heaviness in their ears, to them it is blindness. They are those called from afar' 44
