And who speaks fairer than he who calls unto God and does righteousness and says, 'Surely I am of them that surrender'? 33 Virtue and evil are not equal. If you replace evil habits by virtuous ones, you will certainly find that your enemies will become your intimate friends. 34 but no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint -- no one is granted it save those who are truly fortunate. 35 And O listener! If a distracting thought from the devil reaches you, seek the refuge of Allah; indeed He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 36 Among His Signs are the Night and the Day, and the Sun and the Moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and the moon, but prostrate to Allah, Who created them, if it is Him ye wish to serve. 37 But if they are too proud (to do so), then there are those who are with your Lord (angels) glorify Him night and day, and never are they tired. ۩ 38 And among His signs is this, that you see the earth still, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells: most surely He Who gives it life is the Giver of life to the dead; surely He has power over all things. 39 VERILY, they who distort the meaning of Our messages are not hidden from Us: hence, which [of the two] will be in a better state - he that is [destined to be] cast into the fire, or he that shall come secure [before Us] on Resurrection Day? Do what you will: verily, He sees all that you do. 40 Those who reject the Reminder [the Quran] when it comes to them [are the losers] -- truly it is a mighty Book: 41 Falsehood cannot enter it from any side: It's a revelation from the all-wise and praiseworthy (God). 42 You will not be told except what was said to the Noble Messengers before you; that “Your Lord is the Owner of Forgiveness, and the Owner of Painful Punishment.” 43 Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!" 44
