And who is better in speech than him who prayeth unto his Lord and doeth right, and saith: Lo! I am of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him). 33 Good and evil deeds are not equal. Repel evil with what is better; then you will see that one who was once your enemy has become your dearest friend, 34 And none are made to receive it but those who are patient, and none are made to receive it but those who have a mighty good fortune. 35 And if you are prompted by a provocation from Satan, seek refuge with Allah. He, and He alone, is All-Hearing, All- Knowing. 36 And of His signs are the night and the day and the sun and the moon. So prostrate not yourselves unto the sun nor the moon, but prostrate yourselves unto Allah who hath created them, if it is He alone whom ye are worshipping. 37 However, if people are too proud to prostrate before God, let them know that God's other creatures glorify Him both day and night without fatigue. ۩ 38 And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent. 39 Those who deviate from Our revelations are not hidden from Us. Is the one who will be thrown into hell fire better than the one who will be brought safely into the presence of God on the Day of Judgment? Act as you wish; God is Well-Aware of whatever you do. 40 Indeed those who denied the Remembrance when it came to them – they are truly ruined; and indeed it is an honourable Book. 41 Falsehood cannot come at it from before it or from behind it. (It is) a revelation from the Wise, the Owner of Praise. 42 Naught is said to you but what was said indeed to the apostles before you; surely your Lord is the Lord of forgiveness and the Lord of painful retribution. 43 And had We made it a recital in a foreign tongue, they would have surely said: wherefore are the verses thereof not detailed? A foreign tongue and an Arab! Say thou: unto those who have believed it is a guidance and a healing; and those who believe not, in their ears there is a heaviness, and unto them it is blindness. These are they who are cried unto from a place far-off. 44
