Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ha Mim 1 Ayn. Sin. Qaf. 2 As such Allah, the Almighty, the Wise reveals to you (Prophet Muhammad) and to those before you. 3 To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth; and He is the All-high, the All-glorious. 4 The heavens may well nigh rend asunder from above while the angels proclaim the praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Lo, it is Allah, and He alone, Who is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 5 And (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, Allah watches over them, and you have not charge over them. 6 And so We have revealed to thee an Arabic Koran, that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and those who dwell about it, and that thou mayest warn of the Day of Gathering, wherein is no doubt -- a party in Paradise, and a party in the Blaze. 7 Had God wanted, He could have made them all one single nation, but He grants mercy to whomever He wills. The unjust will have no guardian or helper. 8 What! Have they taken (for worship) protectors besides Him? But it is Allah,- He is the Protector, and it is He Who gives life to the dead: It is He Who has power over all things, 9
