Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ha Mim. 1 Ain Sin Qaf 2 So has God, all-mighty and all-wise, been revealing to you and to others before you. 3 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, belongs to Him. He is all-high and supreme. 4 Well-nigh the heavens might be rent in sunder from above them. And the angels hallow the praise of their lord and ask forgiveness for these on the earth. Lo! Verily Allah! He is the Forgiver, the Merciful! 5 And (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, Allah watches over them, and you have not charge over them. 6 And so We have revealed to thee an Arabic Koran, that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and those who dwell about it, and that thou mayest warn of the Day of Gathering, wherein is no doubt -- a party in Paradise, and a party in the Blaze. 7 If God had willed, He would have made them one nation; but He admits whomsoever He will into His mercy, and the evildoers shall have neither protector nor helper. 8 Have they taken patrons besides Him! But Allah! He is the Patron, He quickeneth the dead, and He is over everything Potent. 9
