In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 By the Clear Book; 2 We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic, that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom). 3 Indeed it is transcribed in the Original Book with Us; sublime and full of wisdom. 4 Can We ignore sending you the Quran just because you are a transgressing people? 5 How many a prophet did We send among the men of old! 6 And not a prophet came unto them but him they were wont to mock. 7 Wherefore We destroyed peoples mightier than these in prowess; and there hath gone forth the example of the ancients. 8 And if thou (Muhammad) ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, they will surely answer: The Mighty, the Knower created them; 9 He Who made the earth a resting-place for you, and made in it ways for you that you may go aright; 10 Who sent down water in due measure from the sky, then quickened a region that was dead -- So shall We bring you forth -- 11 And He it is who has created all opposites. And He [it is who] has provided for you all those ships and animals whereon you ride, 12 so that when you are mounted upon them you may remember the bounty of your Lord, and say: “Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to Us whereas we did not have the strength to subdue it. 13 And surely to our Lord we must return. 14 Yet they make some of His creatures His offspring! Man is surely most ungrateful. 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
