Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

And whoever turns himself away from the remembrance of the Beneficent Allah, We appoint for him a Shaitan, so he becomes his associate. 36 And indeed those devils prevent them from the Straight Path, and they think they are on guidance! 37 When such a person comes to Us, he will say [to his comrade], "If only you had been as far away from me as east is from west. What an evil comrade!" 38 When ye have done wrong, it will avail you nothing, that Day, that ye shall be partners in Punishment! 39 What! can you then make the deaf to hear or guide the blind and him who is in clear error? 40 We shall revenge them either after your death 41 or We show you a part of that which We have promised them, for indeed We have power over them. 42 So, hold fast to the Book that has been revealed to you, you are surely on the right path, 43 and, verily, this [revelation] shall indeed become [a source of] eminence for thee and thy people: but in time you all will be called to account [for what you have done with it]. 44 And ask (O Muhammad SAW) those of Our Messengers whom We sent before you: "Did We ever appoint aliha (gods) to be worshipped besides the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" 45
