Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7
To whosoever blinds himself from the Remembrance of the Merciful, We shall assign him a satan so he is his companion, 36 Satan will prevent them from the right path while they think that they have the right guidance. 37 Until when he comes to Us, he says: O would that between me and you there were the distance of the East and the West; so evil is the associate! 38 (He will then be told): “Today it will not benefit you the least that after your wrong-doing you and your satans now share the chastisement.” 39 What! can you then make the deaf to hear or guide the blind and him who is in clear error? 40 We shall inflict retribution on them, whether We take you away from the world (before We do that), 41 Or show you what We have promised them – We therefore have complete control over them. 42 Follow devotedly that which is revealed to you. You are certainly on the right path. 43 It is a (source) of greatness for you and your people. You will surely be questioned about it. 44 And ask them – did any of the Noble Messengers We sent before you, appoint any other Gods except the Most Gracious, whom they used to worship? 45
