And certainly We sent Musa with Our communications to Firon and his chiefs, so he said: Surely I am the apostle of the Lord of the worlds. 46 But as soon as he came before them with Our [miraculous] signs, lo! they derided them, 47 And not an Ayah (sign, etc.) We showed them but it was greater than its fellow, and We seized them with torment, in order that they might turn [from their polytheism to Allah's Religion (Islamic Monotheism)]. 48 (Whenever they faced an affliction) they would say: “O magician, pray for us to your Lord according to your station with Him. We shall certainly be guided to the Right Way.” 49 But lo, each time We removed Our affliction from them, they would go back on their word. 50 The Pharaoh shouted to his people, "My people, is the kingdom of Egypt not mine? and can you not see that the streams flow from beneath my palace? 51 Aye! I am better than this one who is despicable, and well-nigh cannot make himself plain. 52 Why then have bracelets of gold not been cast on him, or angels not come with him conjoined?' 53 Then he incited his people and they obeyed him; verily they were ever a transgressing people. 54 So, when they had angered Us, We took vengeance on them, and We drowned them all together; 55 and so We made them a thing of the past, and an example to those who would come after them. 56

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
