۞ And when the son of Mary is quoted as an example, behold! the folk laugh out, 57 And they say: are our gods better, or is he? They mention him not to thee save for disputation. Aye! they are a people contentious. 58 He is naught but a bondman: him We favoured, and him We made an ensample unto the Children of Israil. 59 And if We please, We could make among you angels to be successors in the land. 60 And lo! verily there is knowledge of the Hour. So doubt ye not concerning it, but follow Me. Fear Allah and obey me. 63 "For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way." 64 Yet the parties differed among themselves. So woe to those who did evil among the punishment of a Painful Day. 65 Do they wait for aught but the hour, that it should come! upon them all of a sudden while they do not perceive? 66 Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous 67
