My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- 68 you who believed in Our Signs and had surrendered yourselves (to Us)! 69 'Enter Paradise, you and your wives, walking with joy!' 70 Dishes and goblets of gold will be passed around them with all that their souls desire and their eyes delight in. "There you will remain forever: 71 This is the Garden which ye have been made to inherit for that which ye have been working. 72 Herein you will have abundant fruits of which you will eat.” 73 As for the evil-doers, they shall endure forever the torment of Hell, 74 Never will their torment be lightened for them. They shall remain in utter despair. 75 We have not wronged them; it was they who were the wrongdoers. 76 And they will cry out, “O Malik*, ask your Lord to finish us!” He will answer, “Rather you are to stay (forever).” (*The guard of hell) 77 Indeed We have brought the Truth to you, but most of you detest the Truth. 78 Do they assume that they have made their work thorough? So We shall make Our work thorough. 79 Or do they, perchance, think that We do not hear their hidden thoughts and their secret confabulations? Yea, indeed, [We do,] and Our heavenly forces are with them, recording [all]. 80 Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers." 81 All too glorious is He, Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of all power, for what they ascribe to Him 82 Leave them to their vain discoursing and horse-play till they come to meet their promised day (of reckoning). 83 And He it is Who in the heaven is Allah, and in the earth Allah. He is the Wise, the Knower. 84 Glory be to Him, to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that between them is; with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you shall be returned. 85 And those whom they worship besides Allah do not have the right of intercession – the right of intercession is only for those who testify to the Truth and have knowledge. 86 And if you ask them who created them, they will surely say: "Allah". How then are they turned away (from the worship of Allah, Who created them)? 87 Consider his cry: O my Lord! surely they are a people who do not believe. 88 yet pardon them, and say, 'Peace!' Soon they will know. 89
