Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
'O My servants, today no fear is on you, neither do you sorrow' -- 68 even those who believed in Our signs, and had surrendered themselves 69 Enter Paradise joyfully, both you and your spouses.” 70 Passed round amongst them will be dishes of gold and goblets, and therein will be whatsoever souls desire and eyes delight in; and ye will be therein abiders. 71 “And this is the Paradise which is bequeathed to you, because of your deeds.” 72 You shall have therein abundant fruit to eat' 73 But the evildoers shall live for ever in the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), 74 It will not decrease for them; dumb with despair they will stay in it. 75 We never wronged them, but they themselves did the wrong. 76 And they cry: O master! Let thy Lord make an end of us. He saith: Lo! here ye must remain. 77 We brought you the truth, but most of you were averse to the truth. 78 Have they contrived some scheme? If so, We too will contrive a scheme. 79 Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsel? (Yes We do) and Our Messengers (appointed angels in charge of mankind) are by them, to record. 80 Say (O Muhammad): If the Beneficent One hath a son, then, I shall be first among the worshippers. (But there is no son). 81 Purity is to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from all what they fabricate. 82 So leave them alone to indulge in vain discourse and amuse themselves until they come face to face with that Day which they have been promised. 83 It is God who is the Lord of the heavens and is the Lord on earth. He is All-wise and All-knowing. 84 And hallowed be He unto whom the dominion over the heavens and the earth and all that is between them belongs, and with whom the knowledge of the Last Hour rests, and unto whom you all shall be brought back! 85 Those whom they worship besides God are not able to intercede, except for those among them who believe in the Truth (God) and who know whom to intercede for. 86 (Muhammad), if you ask them, "Who had created the idols?" They will certainly say, "God has created them." Why do you then turn away from God? 87 And he saith: O my Lord! Lo! these are a folk who believe not. 88 Wherefore turn thou aside from them, and say: peace; presently they shall come to know. 89

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
