[To whom Allah will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve, 68 those who believed in Our revelations and surrendered themselves to Us. 69 Enter paradise, you and your spouses, with happiness blest!" 70 Dishes and goblets of gold will be passed around them with all that their souls desire and their eyes delight in. "There you will remain forever: 71 And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do. 72 and there is abundant fruit in it for you to eat." 73 But the evil-doers shall abide in the torment of Hell. 74 We had not done any injustice to them but they had wronged themselves. 75 It is not We Who wronged them; rather, it is they who wronged themselves. 76 They will cry: "O Malik! would that thy Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Nay, but ye shall abide!" 77 Indeed We have brought the Truth to you, but most of you detest the Truth. 78 Or have they contrived some matter? We too are contriving. 79 Do they fancy that We do not listen to their whispers and their counselling? Why not, We surely do! And Our angels are with them, writing down. 80 Say (O Muhammad): If the Beneficent One hath a son, then, I shall be first among the worshippers. (But there is no son). 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! 82 Leave them to their vain discoursing and horse-play till they come to meet their promised day (of reckoning). 83 It is God who is the Lord of the heavens and is the Lord on earth. He is All-wise and All-knowing. 84 Exaltations to Him to whom belong the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them! With Him is the knowledge of the Hour and to Him you shall be returned. 85 Those whom they call upon, other than Him, have no power to intercede (for them), except those that have knowingly borne witness to the truth. 86 And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded? 87 [But God has full knowledge of the true believer] and of his [despairing] cry: "O my Sustainer! Verily, these are people who will not believe!" 88 yet pardon them, and say, 'Peace!' Soon they will know. 89
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
