O My worshipers, there is no fear for you on this Day, nor will you grieve 68 For (those of) you on that day who believed in My revelations and submitted. 69 'Enter Paradise, you and your wives, walking with joy!' 70 Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them, (there will be) therein all that the one's inner-selves could desire, all that the eyes could delight in, and you will abide therein forever. 71 Such is the Paradise you shall inherit, for the things you did. 72 fruits [of those deeds] shall you have in abundance, [and] thereof shall you partake! 73 The sinners will be in the Punishment of Hell, to dwell therein (for aye): 74 Nowise will the (Punishment) be lightened for them, and in despair will they be there overwhelmed. 75 We did not wrong them, but they were harmdoers. 76 And they shall call out: O Malik! let your Lord make an end of us. He shall say: Surely you shall tarry. 77 We brought you the truth, but most of you were averse to the truth. 78 If the disbelievers persist in their disbelief, We shall also persist in punishing them. 79 Do they think We do not hear their secret and that which they conspire! Yes, indeed Our angels, who are present with them write it down. 80 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "If the Most Beneficent (Allah) had a son (or children as you pretend), then I am the first of Allah's worshippers [who deny and refute this claim of yours (and the first to believe in Allah Alone and testify that He has no children)]." [Tafsir At-Tabari]. 81 Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe. 82 So let them thou alone wading and sporting until they meet the Day which they are promised. 83 And He it is Who in the heaven is Allah, and in the earth Allah. He is the Wise, the Knower. 84 Glory be to Him, to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that between them is; with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you shall be returned. 85 And those whom they invoke besides Allah have no power of intercession;- only he who bears witness to the Truth, and they know (him). 86 Now if thou ask those [who worship any being other than God] as to who it is that has created them, they are sure to answer, "God." How perverted, then, are their minds! 87 (Allah has knowledge) of the (Prophet's) cry, "O my Lord! Truly these are people who will not believe!" 88 Then bear with them [O Muhammad] and say, "Peace." They will soon come to know. 89
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
