O My worshipers, there is no fear for you on this Day, nor will you grieve 68 (You) who believed in Our Ayat (proofs, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and were Muslims (i.e. who submit totally to Allah's Will, and believe in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism). 69 Enter ye the Garden, ye and your wives, in (beauty and) rejoicing. 70 Dishes and goblets of gold will be passed around them with all that their souls desire and their eyes delight in. "There you will remain forever: 71 for such will be the paradise which you shall have inherited by virtue of your past deeds: 72 You shall have therein abundant fruit to eat' 73 But the evil-doers shall abide in the torment of Hell. 74 Never will their torment be lightened for them. They shall remain in utter despair. 75 We did not wrong them, but they were harmdoers. 76 And they will cry out, “O Malik*, ask your Lord to finish us!” He will answer, “Rather you are to stay (forever).” (*The guard of hell) 77 Assuredly We brought the truth unto you, but most of you are to the truth averse. 78 Have they contrived some scheme? If so, We too will contrive a scheme. 79 Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record. 80 Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers." 81 Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of power, from what they describe. 82 But leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised: 83 And He it is Who is God in the heavens and God in the earth, and He is the Wise, the Knower. 84 Exaltations to Him to whom belong the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them! With Him is the knowledge of the Hour and to Him you shall be returned. 85 Those whom they call upon, other than Him, have no power to intercede (for them), except those that have knowingly borne witness to the truth. 86 If you ask them who created them, they will answer: "God." How then can they turn away? 87 The Prophet has said, "Lord! Truly they are a people who do not believe." 88 Wherefore turn thou aside from them, and say: peace; presently they shall come to know. 89
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
