And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 And We chose them, purposely, above (all) creatures. 32 And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial 33 Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying, 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals. 37 We created not the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, in play; 38 We created them not save with a purpose but most of them know not. 39 Indeed the Day of Decision is the appointment for all of them. 40 the Day when no friend shall be of the least avail to his friend, and when none shall be succoured 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
