We saved the Children of Israel from their humiliating torment 30 From Fir'awn; verily he was haughty and of the extravagant. 31 And We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the 'Alamin (mankind, and jinns) [during the time of Musa (Moses)] with knowledge, 32 And granted them signs in which there was a plain trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 "There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our fathers [back], if what you say is true. 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). 37 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, merely in (idle) sport: 38 none of this have We created without [an inner] truth: but most of them understand it not. 39 VERILY, the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false] is the term appointed for all of them: 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
