Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3
So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial 33 Lo! these, forsooth, are saying: 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 We did not idly create the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them; 38 We did not create them except in Truth. But most of them do not know. 39 VERILY, the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false] is the term appointed for all of them: 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 42
