And indeed We rescued the Descendants of Israel from a disgraceful torture. 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 "There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. 36 Are they better than the tribe of Tubba (name of a Yemenite tribal chief) and those who lived before them? We destroyed them. They were criminals. 37 For [thus it is:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in mere idle play: 38 We created them not save with a purpose but most of them know not. 39 The Day of Decision is the appointed time for all. 40 The day on which, no friends will benefit each other at all, nor will they be helped. (Except those who are pious – see verse 43:67) 41 Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 42

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
