Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
