Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum will indeed be 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 They shall wear of fine and thick silk, (sitting) face to face; 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
