The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
