The food of the Zakkum tree 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 Then pour above his head of the torment of the boiling water: 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
