The tree of Zaqqum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 "Then pour over his head the Penalty of Boiling Water, 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In it they will ask for all kinds of fruit, with safety. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
