The food of the Zakkum tree 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
