Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He will save them from the punishment of the hell, 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
