Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 like water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
