Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
