The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
