Surely the tree of the Zaqqum, 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 In the midst of gardens and of springs, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
