Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 It will be like molted brass which will boil in the bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have now made it easy on your tongue, in order that they remember. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
