The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus.
