Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 like water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 In gardens and springs; 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
