Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like boiling water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Saying “Taste it! Indeed you only are the most honourable, the dignified!” 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
