The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 like water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 among gardens and springs, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
