Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed the tree of Zaqqum, – 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Attired in silk and brocade, they shall be arrayed face to face. 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
